Cross Cultural Communication Training

Bilingual Skills Services LLC trains Spanish-speaking and English-speaking employees to form cohesive productivity teams while bridging the culture and language gaps in order to:

• Maintain or increase company productivity
• Meet the banking needs of their Hispanic clients
• Avoid a costly cultural clash:
  The misunderstandings and conflict that occur when cultural differences such as behaviors, values, or ways of solving problems are not known or understood.

Bilingual Skills Services LLC has offered customized training solutions, workshops and consultations to banks, manufacturers and government agencies since 1996. Presented by native speakers of English and/or Spanish these solutions include:

• Cross cultural competency training in order to identify and eliminate costly productivity errors.
• Identify and meet the banking needs of the Hispanic client with special focus on the Mexican immigrant.

Cultural Diversity Training 

Mary Lynn Bennett, Owner of Bilingual Skills Services LLC improves the communication and productivity skills of the Latino workforce. She empowers companies to develop the potential of culture diversity and language diversity. Wearing her steel toed shoes and using her bilingual abilities, Mary Lynn began her company as a trainer on the factory floor for manufacturing companies such as Quad Graphics Inc. She was instrumental in developing the following Quad Graphics cultural diversity management training classes, "Workplace Productivity Language Training in English and Spanish", "Cultural Spanish for Managers", and "Cohesive Teaming with Workforce Diversity."

Nominated as the 2001 ENTREPRENEURIAL WOMAN OF THE YEAR by the National Association of Women Business Owners (NAWBO) and recognized as a "Safety and Health Professional and a Leader in her Field" by the Wisconsin Council of Safety, Mary Lynn also works with certified safety compliance companies. She has presented various safety workshops, sponsored by the Wisconsin Council of Safety, including " Teacher My Boss is Crazy. He Wants Me to Kill the Machine!"

Mary Lynn has spoken at 18th Annual WISCONSIN SHRM CONFERENCE in Appleton, 2004 , " Identifying Critical Productivity Issues of the Hispanic Workforce, " and was the featured speaker at "Building Bridges: Understanding Latino families in our Community' sponsored by the Special Needs Center of Children's Hospital of Milwaukee, WI. In 1996, Mary Lynn founded the St. Frances Cabrini (SFC) Hispanic Outreach in West Bend , WI , recipient of the Archdiocese of Milwaukee Justice Award in 2002 and works extensively with Mexican immigrants in Washington County .
